Pathos Media creates and produces high quality royalty free stock footage for the advertising and entertainment markets. Our stock video clips are marketed and sold through our distribution partners Pond5, Shutterstock, Istock & Getty Images. Since 2007 we have licensed over 100,000 clips for use in commercials, advertising, television & films. Customers include: Microsoft, Coca-Cola, Sony, Canon, Samsung, JVC, Citibank, Nissan, Chevrolet, The Travel Channel, Disney, BBC, Warner Bros., CBS, Discovery Channel, ESPN, MTV and NBC.
A film is – or should be – more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what’s behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later. Therefore it is essential that the revelation we receive, the conception of an image which embraces a certain thing, which has no sense in itself, which has no subject, which means ‘absolutely nothing’ from the logical point of view… …should speak so strongly in us, evoke such agony or joy, that we feel compelled to create.
